Release Notes
In 1999, while recording a new album, early band members Bonhae and Guigsy left the band. Amid concerns about the band's future, Noel and Liam held a press conference, stating, "Oasis' future is secure. This story and its glory will continue." Soon after, Gem and Andy joined the band as new members. A mini-tour of the US at the end of 1999 was likely intended as a test run for the new members in preparation for the larger tour planned for the following year, 2000.
This album covers the entire US mini-tour in December 1999. In particular, the December 11, 1999, release was titled "Helter Skelter Christmas," but featured dramatic cuts to three tracks: "Supersonic," "Champagne Supernova," and "Helter Skelter."
A later version, titled "Helter Skelter Christmas Fixed," filled in the cuts with a different source, but the sound quality was noticeably different, creating an unnatural feeling of an extreme hollowing in the edited sections. It also had a more fatal flaw than the sound quality difference. The audio used to edit the missing opening of "Champagne Supernova" wasn't from the actual performance, but was instead from a performance in Philadelphia on December 3, 1999, a faked version using a different performance. In contrast, this release properly captures the sound from the actual performance, and even includes Liam's MC, which was missing from the previously released version.
With the departure of Bonehead and Guigsy, two longtime allies since the band's formation, what does Oasis have in store for them now? This is a complete recording of the 1999 North American mini-tour, which took place just after the new members joined and was watched with bated breath by fans around the world.

**** This is not sourced directly from the Master VHS, but from a rip of that source, uploaded by Pilgrimprogress in his youtube channel ****
I decided to go ahead and author this show, since is very unlikely that the original Master VHS source is going to be openly shared... is better than nothing...
(anyway, this looks better than a lot of AUD DVD around there :P )
Work done:
Video: I added some filters, and filled a few little gaps present in the video. Now are not noticeable.
Audio: I mixed the original audio from the video with the infamous SBD (or FM???) recording, available since a long time... Well, as you may know, the SBD recording has Liam´s voice all over the rest of the music. If that wasn´t enough, Noel´s guitar is terrible handled by the sound man... (check the intros for Supersonic and Wonderwall, as an example). This is the worst mixing in a SBD recording that I remember... seriously....
Well, the mix sounds warmer and well balanced now... is the best result I could get considering the original sound of both sources (and that I´m not sound engineer :) )... but is pretty good.
The extras:
I added the MKV versions that I had at the moment in my computer... When I finished the main show, I wanted to add some extras, but I was too lazy to look over my DVDs and search for some fillers... so I used those MKV files on my PC... Anyway, I included the version of Acquiesce from SNL (which I only have in MKV, not DVD format) that I worken on a little bit... the image was far from perfect, it is now as well, but is way better than the original source. Plus that, I replaced the audio with the best known source (you know what I mean, dont tell anyone----)
Well, it is what it is.... Enjoy and share if you want, but with notes included. Don´t try to fool anyone claiming this is direct from the Master VHS....

In 2016 a great quality version of the audience-shot video surfaced on YouTube with synced audio from the webcast.
As of 2023 all of the "soundboard" sources that were traded back in 1999 seem to have been from the webcast.
