commentsThe FULL uncut interview by Molly Meldrum surfaced in 2019 courtesy of the "Oasis Media Archive".Molly starts by thanking Noel for the "performance" they just recorded in the studio. Molly starts goes into quite some depth on the early days of Oasis and Noel's songwriting process for Definitely Maybe and (What's The Story?) Morning Glory. Noel talks about why he recorded the vocals for Don't Look Back in Anger and also addresses why the band have not yet made it to Australia. Excerpts were used on Hey Hey It's Saturday as well as MTV/VH-1 and many documentaries over the years. The interview was conducted by Molly Meldrum in New York on March 12, 1996. Footage from this session was also used on MTV and recycled for a number of documentaries about (What's The Story) Morning Glory over the years (Sony must have acquired the rights to use it). The studio-mimed "Wonderwall" is from the playback session also recorded on March 12 in New York. screenshots
