commentsAcademy '95 sounds like a cassette transfer - the levels on are a bit high in parts and it suffers from some distortion. "Slide Away" is cut at the end, and "(It's Good) To be Free" is cut at the beginning.NY Academy '95 Complete (DAT) is a new COMPLETE (and uncut!) DAT SOURCE, direct from the master! Streets ahead of the previously available version (although still a little heavy on the bass, the vocals are superb). NY Academy '95 Complete (DAT, Alt Source) sounds like the same DAT source, except it's a louder/brighter version, the tracks are cut slightly differently and the right/left channels are flipped. There's also a slightly longer fade out at the end of "I Am The Walrus", versus a more abrupt ending on the other source. Just before "It's Good to Be Free", Noel asks the crowd if anyone knows where "V Bar" is as they're holding an after show party there. "Everyone's invited, as long as you bring drugs"...
