Liam sings on all the tracks. The night before the recording, Noel had met Bobby Gillespie and Robert "Throb" Young of Primal Scream, and had embarked on an all-night drinking spree. The following morning, Noel was the worse for wear under the control desk when the BBC Engineer arrived....but still managed to crank out an excellent session.Most broadcasts include some kind of fade in/out or DJ voiceover, apart from BBC Transcription Disc "The Mix" #25 which is a pre-FM soundboard source intended for radio broadcast.
A couple of versions of this show are in circulation via legendary oasis fan/taper "johnky" and dated as "May 13, 1994" with the venue as "Maida Vale Studios". One version also contains "Supersonic" and "Married with Children" from the Mark Lamarr Show May 3rd, 1994 tagged on the end.
