Comments:
According to Tony McCarroll, these were the first tracks recorded with Noel in the band. Source »
There are two versions of The Untold Story in circulation, the original from Hoddle Records and another release without no named label. A third version was also released as The Early Years - all are identical.
"Take Me" was written by Bonehead & Liam (Music/Lyrics).
On The Lost Tapes from KTS, "Take Me" and "Colour My Life" are labelled as "Stockport Demos" and "See The Sun" is labelled as "Machester Demo".
First Demo Tape is a 2004 digital transfer from a 1992 Demo Tape owned by "MickDude". This is the first/only version in circulation with the first guitar note on Colour My Life NOT clipped short...
The J Files was a "deep cuts" radio special broadcast on Triple J Radio in Australia on July 4, 2002 to celebrate the upcoming Finsbury Park gigs. They broadcast "See The Sun" from The Lost Tapes bootleg. (Rare for a radio station to air material from bootleg CDs!)
